2 tracks on SHATTUCK — THE ALBUM
SKUuUNK performing live

SKUuUNK began on the Sipsey River outside of Tuscaloosa one spirited evening. The Mallet Assembly Honors dorm's less honorable members converged on a camping excursion, held a shamanesque ritual, and produced every song in the band's catalog.

From there, they recruited a straight-edged guitar player — a future tech magnate — to handle the lead lines and logistics, quit school, and immediately hit the world hard on tour.

Knowing nothing attracts a crowd like a crowd, the band rented out the largest stadium possible for their first show and provided unlimited free beer for every attendee. Due to the exposure and success of this show, everyone else around the world assumed they should know who the band was, and thus every following show was sold out.

Their final show, Amsterdam, 1997, resulted in the largest known plume of smoke ever recorded, observable from the space station.

At its conclusion, the band, having realized every fantasy and form of debauchery known to man — within the span of a month — retired and became respectable citizens, hidden amongst us all.

THE SHATTUCK CONNECTION

Shattuck arranged the unlimited beer for SKUuUNK's first stadium show. Nobody ever asked where it came from, and nobody has produced an invoice.
